Dewa Dubbing Studio workflow visualization

Dewa Dubbing Studio is a local production workspace for managing the steps around dubbing and subtitle work. It belongs in the portfolio because it demonstrates practical workflow thinking, not because it claims to be a finished cloud product.

01 / CONTEXT

What needed solving

Dubbing tasks become difficult to track when source media, transcription, timing, voice output, and review steps are scattered across separate tools.

02 / BUILD

What I built

I structured a local workspace around the production flow: prepare a source, process the job, inspect the output, and keep the next action visible.

03 / VALUE

Why it matters

The available Python test suite passes 12 of 12 tests, with Python compilation and frontend JavaScript syntax also verified locally.

04 / APPROACH

How I approached it

I mapped the work into a visible production loop: select source media, build or review subtitle cues, assign speaker and voice details, inspect timing against the preview, then route the next edit. The workspace keeps a multi-step media task understandable without exposing internal client names or source files.

05 / TOOLS & TECH

Tools & Workflow

Built and checked locally with Python services, JavaScript interface code, subtitle and timing workflow tools, local media-preview controls, Python unit tests, compilation checks, and frontend syntax validation.

From intention toimplementation.

01

Turn a complex flow into a workspace

Framed dubbing as a visible job lifecycle instead of a collection of isolated scripts.

02

Keep human review in the loop

Designed the flow around sources, subtitles, voice output, and review rather than presenting AI as a black box.

Architecture at a Glance

Cue workspace

Subtitle source selection, editable cue lists, timing rows, speaker assignment, and voice-profile controls.

Media review

Preview and timeline surfaces keep video, audio, captions, and edit decisions visible in one operator workflow.
